1Introduction
ProspectLens ("we", "our") is a Chrome extension published by HuttyBuddy that helps digital agencies, video creators, and B2B solopreneurs audit business websites, generate client-ready growth reports, and organize prospect outreach. This policy explains what data the extension handles, why, and the choices you have. It matches the data disclosures on our Chrome Web Store listing.

2Data the extension handles
ProspectLens handles the following categories of data, solely to deliver its core prospecting features:

| Website content & web history | To run the 4-pillar conversion audit (conversion architecture, video presence, social proof, mobile/SEO) on the business website you are actively viewing in the side panel. |
| Authentication information | To verify your subscription plan (Free / Pro / Agency) and keep your license active across sessions. |
| Financial & payment information | To process subscription purchases. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card numbers on our servers. |
| Personal communications | Only the outreach drafts you generate inside the extension (cold emails, SMS hooks, LinkedIn DMs, call battle-cards) so they can be saved to your pipeline and exported. |
| Location | Only at the coarse level you configure (e.g. your target metro area) to keep prospecting focused on your service region. |
3Local-first storage
Your saved leads, audit results, and configuration settings are stored locally in your browser by default. We never sell your prospecting data, and we do not broker lead lists to third parties.
4CRM & webhook sync — only when you ask
The 1-click CRM/webhook sync and CSV exporter transmit prospect data only when you explicitly trigger them, and only to the CRM, webhook endpoint, or file destination you configure. Nothing is synced in the background without your action.
5Ethical use & non-scrape policy
ProspectLens strictly enforces a zero-scraping policy for sensitive verticals: the extension will not scrape or prospect legal/law practices or real estate businesses. The tool audits websites you visit as you browse; it does not bulk-harvest personal data.
6Your controls
- Delete your data: removing the extension from Chrome deletes the data stored locally in your browser. To request deletion of any account or license records, email kevinhutty@gmail.com.
- Cancel anytime: subscriptions can be cancelled through the same checkout provider used at purchase; you keep access until the end of the billing period.
- Children: ProspectLens is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
7Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, announced inside the extension or on the support page.
